2010 Handy Schedule of Events

Please, no alcohol, coolers or pets permitted at Handy Festival events. This is to comply with regulations in City of Henderson parks and for the convenience, safety and enjoyment of other Handy-goers.

The W.C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival will feature a Children's Fun Zone with inflatable rides. The Fun Zone will be open during festival hours Wednesday, June 16-Saturday, June 19, and will be located on Water Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Admission to the rides costs a small fee, which will provide all-day access with a Fun Zone wristband.

In fact, one of the very few who can match his eclectic tastes in music is Duke Robillard, the veteran guitarist who founded Roomful of Blues when he was a teenager, and who has made a dozen albums for Stony Plain.
