The Henderson Music Preservation Society is a 501©(3) non-profit community organization, staffed by volunteers, that exists to bring a free festival honoring former Henderson resident W.C. Handy, helping keep the blues (and good times by the river) alive.

In the past five years alone, our music budget has increased significantly, enabling us to bring Bernard Allison and Ronnie Baker Brooks and dozens of other first-rate performers to the Handy Fest.

But we couldn't do it without our sponsors and donations from good folks like you. Contributions are the lifeblood of the Handy Festival.
